							Who we are: We are owned and operated by Not From a Box.com, a leader and innovator in the custom wedding invitation business since 2002. We decided it was time to start making high-quality, stylish invitations for weddings and parties that are also friendlier to the environment. What we do: Our invitations and stationery are printed on 100% Post Consumer recycled cardstock using eco-friendly soy-based inks. Our envelopes are made from 100% Post Consumer recycled paper. ALL of our wedding and party invitations are printed on 100% post-consumer recycled cardstock using soy-based inks. Even our envelopes are made of 100% post-consumer recycled paper! Our colored cardstocks (ones used for layering and specialty envelopes) are also made from 100% recycled content, and some, in addition to being 100% recycled, also contain 30% post-consumer content.

We use Soy-based inks for printing, which are made from soy oil rather than foreign-based petrochemical oil. Soybeans are a popular crop among American farmers and widely available.

In addition, most of the cardstocks used in Not From a Tree products are also processed chlorine-free and made entirely with renewable energy sources (like windmills and hydroelectric generators).

What else? We use shipping boxes made from recycled content and biodegradable packing peanuts to ship every order. Clients can further reduce the environmental impact of packing and shipping by having us address, stuff, and mail the invitations from our St. Petersburg, FL studio.
